Ukulele – Chuck Morgan

Chuck Morgan is one of Australia’s most in demand guitarists, working mostly with leading jazz musicians and acknowledged widely as a highly talented and versatile musician. He was for many years, guitarist with the Television New Zealand Orchestra and the Auckland Radio Orchestra before relocating from New Zealand to Sydney in 1986.

Chuck has played with and recorded with many international artists. These include William Galison, Bobby Shew, Lanny Morgan, Margie Baker, Eiji Kitamura, Mavis Rivers, Matt Cattingub, Tom Baker, Don Rader, Gordon Brisker, The Four Aces, Bob Barnard, Don Burrows, Russ Garcia, Rod McKuen and many others.

Percussion – Danny Cummings

Danny is one of the world’s best known percussionists. Since acquiring his first latin percussion instrument aged 21 – a second-hand conga – London-based Danny has enjoyed over 20 years playing and recording with some of the greatest names in rock including John Martyn, Dire Straits, Luz Casal, Johnny Hallyday, Tina Turner, George Michael, Elton John, Pet Shop Boys, Daniel Bedingfield, Mark Knopfler, Depeche Mode and Bryan Adams to name just a few.

His playing is particularly well showcased on ‘Ocean Drive’ (1995) by The Lighthouse Family and on the cabaret-tinged album ‘Shag Tobacco’ (1995) by vocalist Gavin Friday – on which Danny recorded more than 60 overdubs! He also appears on Mark Knopfler’s ‘Kill To Get Crimson’ (2007) album and Bryan Adams’ studio album ‘On a Day Like Today’.

Bass – Geoff Gascoyne

Geoff is one of the UK’s most hi-profile bass players as well as a prolific composer, arranger, producer and musical educator.

In a 25 year career, he has played with some of the biggest names in music including Georgie Fame, Sting, Van Morrison, Bill Bruford, Gloria Estefan and Jamie Cullum – with whom he was bassist, MD and arranger for 7 years.
